Bookings: Intending passengers should book their journeys to avoid disappointment, as much in advance as possible, as on certain journeys time limits apply after which it may not be possible to accept bookings.
Children: To be eligible to travel at a child’s fare, the child should be 15 years of age or under unless otherwise stated. Children under 3 can travel free of charge if sitting on a paying adults lap.
Ticket Refund: Applications for refund received together with the ticket 14 days or more prior to the date of travel will qualify for a refund less 20% towards administration costs. Between 7 and 14 days prior to the date of travel, there will be a charge of 75% of the total cost. No refund will be given if cancelled 7 days or under, except in the event of illness provided that the ticket and a medical certificate are received prior to the date of travel, the ticket holder will be allowed credit (less 20%) for travel within 12 months. Unfortunately, in all cases there will be no refund for hotels, admission fees, ferry charges or theatre tickets, which the company have paid in advance.
Deposits: As of 2009 Ceefa Coaches will require a deposit of £40.00 per person to secure a booking on any UK or EU holiday. The company will require a £10.00 per person deposit to secure seats on any UK or EU excursion. In all cases in the event of cancellation by the client all deposits are non refundable and non transferable. In the event of cancellation by the company full refund will be given.
Halts en route: Halts for refreshments are made on longer journeys and passengers are asked to assist the driver by observing strictly the time allowed on these halts.
Admission Prices: Admission prices quoted were verified before this literature was printed, but the company cannot be held responsible for any changes in information given.
Liability: The Company, while taking every reasonable care in respect of arrangements, where necessary shown cannot be held responsible for any changes in information given.
Seats: The Company reserves the right to change seat and coach arrangements where necessary. It may not always be possible for passengers from different boarding points to be seated on the same coach.
Timings: Although every precaution is taken, there is no guarantee the vehicles will perform the journey in any given time, and we cannot be responsible for any loss, inconvenience etc. arising from any unforeseen delay outside of our control.
Smoking: All our vehicles are strictly non-smoking at all times.
Alcohol: The Company reserves the right to refuse to carry any person who in the opinion of the driver or Company representative is under excessive influence of alcohol.
Food and Drink: The consumption of Take-Away Food and alcoholic beverages is strictly forbidden on board our vehicles.
Promptness: The Company would request that passengers should arrive at least ten minutes before departure time, as our schedule dictates that we will not be able to wait beyond your scheduled departure time.
Passports: To travel on any excursion/holiday to Europe, full 10-year passports and any appropriate visas must be held by every travelling passenger.
Cancellation by Ceefa Coaches: The company reserves the right to cancel, alter or withdraw a tour at any time, in which event its liability will be strictly limited to the price paid for the ticket, in these circumstances, all monies which have been paid will be refunded in full but no further liability will be accepted by the Company. The Company accepts no responsibility, for any loss, inconvenience or injury relating to a failure to adhere to the advertised schedule and reserves the right to make alterations without notice. All arrangements for ferries, admissions, meals and other means of conveyance are made by the Company as agents for the passenger upon condition that it shall not be responsible for any damage, delay or injury or inconvenience caused. The Company reserves the right to cancel any day trip or holiday that is under subscribed.
Financial Protection: To protect your money and in compliance with the EEC regulations on package tours, your payments are lodged in a trust Account. These funds cannot be released until you return from your holiday.
Data Protection Act 1984: To comply with the data protections act 1984 we must inform you that your name and address is held on our computerised mailing list after a booking is made. It is used exclusively for Ceefa Coaches, and will not be given to any persons outside of the Company. Should you wish to be removed from our mailing list, please notify us in writing. Thank you.
Behaviour: We reserve the right to refuse a booking and to refuse or withdraw carriage to any passenger causing a nuisance to other passengers or ourselves without liability.
Surcharges: The price of your holiday is subject to change for an increase or decrease in any of the following costs: - Transportation costs including fuel including fuel tax, ferry operator fares and tolls and embarkation or disembarkation fees at terminals. Exchange rates applied to the particular holiday booked and changes in dues and taxes (including the rate of VAT).
Payment: Credit/Debit cards and cheques, made payable to Ceefa Coaches are accepted, or you may also pay cash to our Basildon booking office.
